Dishwashers set onto existing water, drain and power, over-the-range microwaves hung and vented, and washer and dryer hookups where the connections are already in place. Install only, for Honolulu homes and condos, quoted in writing.
We only install appliances; we do not repair them. If a dishwasher, microwave or dryer has broken down, an appliance repair technician is the right call. Once the replacement is bought and delivered, we take it from there. Old unit out. New one connected to the water, drain, vent and power already in the wall, leveled, secured, and run through a cycle while we watch every joint.

Send the new unit's model number and photos of the space, the shutoff, the outlet and, for a microwave, the cabinet above the range.
We confirm the hookups, cabinet height and vent path suit the new unit, then quote the install in writing.
Book us for after the appliance arrives, so the old one is not sitting unplugged in the middle of the kitchen for a week.
Connected, leveled and secured, then run through a cycle or a heat test with every connection checked and the floor wiped dry.
Each appliance install needs its connections already in place, plus one detail that decides whether it works right. Here is what that looks like per unit.
| Appliance | Hooks up to | The detail that matters | Common mistake | Not a handyman part |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dishwasher | Existing water, drain and power | Drain hose raised in a high loop or run to an air gap | Hose lying flat on the cabinet floor | A new water or drain line |
| OTR microwave | The outlet in the cabinet above | Cabinet height above the cooktop, vent path | Hung low enough to scorch | A new circuit |
| Washer | Existing hose valves, drain and outlet | Set level on its feet | Feet left unadjusted on an uneven floor | New supply or drain lines |
| Dryer | Existing outlet and vent opening | Joined to the vent that is already there | Vent hose crushed behind the machine | A new circuit or gas line |
A careful appliance install matters more in Honolulu because every mistake costs more to fix and more to run. The EIA put Hawaii's average residential electricity price at 48.00 cents per kWh in July 2026, against a U.S. average of 18.31 and the highest of any state, so a badly vented or leaking unit wastes expensive power. The new appliance came across by ship, like more than 80 percent of goods used here, per Hawaii DOT Harbors. And in Urban Honolulu, 48 percent of homes sit in buildings of 20 or more units, where a new vent hole through an outside wall is the association's decision, not yours.

A new appliance gets run before we call it done. Dishwashers go through a cycle while we check the cabinet floor, microwaves get a heat test with the fan on, and you see each one working with your own eyes.

One visit can cover several items. These six are the ones Honolulu homes ask about most; the full list sits further down the homepage.
